Tacoma Moment of Zen: 2401-2409 Pacific Ave

By Morgan Alexander

Unlike the last Moment of Zen where we saw a dramatic turn around of a historic building, this week’s photo by Stephen Cysewski shows how some things have stayed the same. These two buildings sit on the same block occupied by the long vacant Foremost Dairy, which just sold for $3,000,000.

These are great buildings right near a LINK stop…Please, somebody, put in some money and renovate these!

It’s not always about someone buying property to make improvements. The sales transaction is a two-way process. If there isn’t a willing seller, what can you do? FYI: the property owner of the building to the right used to co-own the Elks building with with Zimmerman.

Neeners, I worked here almost up until it closed if I had the money I would have bought the place in a second. It has so much potential
